Developmentally disadvantaged adolescent females with any of the following needs or disorders:

• Youth in need of Independent Living Skills
• CHINS
• Pregnant
• Adjustment Disorder
• Attention Deficit Disorder
• Bi-Polar Disorder
• Depression
• Eating Disorder
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder
• Oppositional Defiant Disorder
• Personality Disorder
• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
• Separation Anxiety Disorder
• Mild Mental Retardation
• Females not appropriate for private foster care placement

Inappropriate Referrals

• Frequent aggressive behavior (current)
• Severe MR
• Psychotic
• Sexual perpetrators
• Arsonist

Staffing

• For up to 8 residents, 1:1:1
• For 4 to 8 residents, 1:2:1 (support coverage)
• 24 hours per day, 365 days a year

Length of stay

• Minimum 2 months, maximum 6 years

• Structure
• Behavior modification
• 1:1 counseling
• Positive role models
• Positive peer culture

Goal of program

• To teach independent living skills in a therapeutic setting

• 13-19 year old females, dependent, neglected/abused
