STARS Services

• 24 hour supervision while on facility property
• Communication with placing agency and support agencies
• Coordination of individual counseling
• Contact with educational providers
• Coordination of all medical and dental appointments and communications with providers
• Daily transportation included
• One-on-One staffing arranged based on child's needs
• Academic assistance and support
• Development of service plan and quarterly reviews
• Coordination of recreational activities
• Religious practices supported
• Clothing allowance up to $70.00 per month over available public funding based on need
• Recreational and personal allowance
• Instructional groups, mentoring and support on a variety of Independent Living Skills such as money management through budgeting, spending and saving; household management through maintaining personal living space and respecting the space of others; menu planning; food prepping and cooking; shopping; accessing housing options; employment skills through interviewing, gaining and maintaining employment; accessing public transportation; accessing services for physical and mental needs; coping skills; and safety issues and skills.
